Rifle Basix - worth getting??

My wife just bought me a Savage Axis XP in .223 for my birthday. I took it out to the range and it is quite accurate but the trigger is a bear!!
I know the rifle is cheap and all, but other than the trigger I think it is quite good. Checking on the internet I see that several people suggest swapping out the stock trigger for a Rifle Basix unit. I contacted them and they will ship to Canada. My question for the folks here is - are these triggers worth the money and is there a Canadian alternative? Thanks for any input. Glen

I have one on my Savage 12 and it is excellent. No Jewel, got the tiniest bit of creep that I can't remove, but worth it for sure.

i have one in my savage mark 2 that i use for small bore mini f class and it is great amazing everyone who tries the rifle loves the trigger completely adjustable and easy to swap out.

The RB trigger makes a huge improvement, Tightened my groups from 1" at 100 to .5" when I could shoot right lol
Really worth it, feels great to shoot, nice, crisp and reliable.

I am totally sold on Rifle Basix. They are awesome. I have one with 8oz of pull on my target rifle. Every build of mine will continue to have their triggers.

And if it makes you feel better, all of the Canadian Forces C14s use them too. They are solid.

At 8 oz in my Savage it fires even on safe when I hit the butt of the riffle on the ground...

Yikes mine thankfully doesn't do that but I'll keep that in mind as my next build I am contemplating will be a mix target/hunter.
