I want to buy a fluted bolt for my build (Just for looks) and I was wondering what the legality of getting it into Canada? They are worth $85 bucks a pop. Do I have to go through an importer? or can it be just shipped via UPS? The company will take international order but only ship to US address.

Thanks.

Yep. The part would be controlled for export out if the US under ITAR. Cost doesn't matter. A licensed exporter is required to legally export it out of the US.

Take a look at the value of getting it here (hassle included) and then confirming head space vs getting someone to machine a bolt for you here.

More effort than good. I am also wanting a fluted bolt. Many people here do them. Talk to some dealers.

I know north shore barrels do. That's who im going to use. But he is away building his new page for now. Unless e chimes in here.
