Wipe out !A good carbon remove and a bore brush.Wipe out doesn't take the glazed carbon out of the grooves that well.You end up with carbon and copper under it so you need to alternate between the too .As witnessed by my bore cam
 
Interesting how in one thread shooters are trying to eliminate copper fouling and in another a shooter advocates “copper equilibrium” .... and cleaning only after several hundred rounds are down the tube:)

Which thread is that? Sounds interesting.

Is there some sort of testing done on when copper fouling really starts to impact accuracy and would there be a "fouling" plateau where inaccuracy reaches a maximum value ... and how many rounds on average would it take to get there for various cartridges ...

There have been tests done. Copper fouling does smooth out some barrels, but I've never seen a chart that states "for x accuracy shoot y bullets first". - dan
