A guy here left a Remington 710 in his pickup truck when he stopped at Wal-Mart to buy some ammo in Whitehorse today. The law, as we all know, requires that a firearm be secured out of sight if stored in a locked vehicle.

He left it on the front seat of the truck!

He was in the store about half an hour while he got the ammo and some snacks for a caribou hunting trip up the Dempster Highway. When he came back out he saw that his passenger side window had been smashed in.

When he looked inside the truck...there were two Remington 710s on the front seat!
