Hey there guys. I was wondering about rifle chassis systems. They look very nice and was wondering how they hold up. I have Mcmillian stocks on my guns. I was thinking about going to a chassis system on one of them. Any thoughts and comments from people who have them. Thanks in advance.

I used a AICS chassis for years and was very happy with it............would not hesitate to buy another if needed.....

Currently running the MDT TAC-21 chassis system...........outstanding piece of kit!!!!! ;)

How do you find it shooting in colder weather? does it's grouping open up?

Loved my aics 2.0, love my 1.5 and love my new krg. I don't mind mcm sticks but just like chassis better. Just personal preference though.

Really liked my mdt chassis. Good solid well put together system with an open end of possibilities

Trying out a xlr tactical here soon so my hopes for it are pretty high as well

I am quite happy with the JAE system

I did get an email from a small company called Ashbury Precision Ordnance as part of the SHOT Show media releases

I don't really know much about their stuff but I don't think many know of them just figured I'd ad another to the list

Happy to hear you like the KRG. I have one ordered for a Sako m995 build I am doing. There isn't a lot of feedback out there yet about the KRG Whiskey 3. I was rather limited in choices for the m995, but I really like the looks of the KRG, so I went for it.

I'm not sure why some manufacturers make their stocks fold to the opposite side from the bolt. Is there something I miss? The ones that cover the bolt are a big + in that they permit a smoth side for transit, and don't have that big hinge right beside the shooters teeth.

Perhaps I'm overlooking an upside to folding opposite to the bolt, but the folders that I've used that cover the bolt sure appeared head and shoulders above to me.

I plan to see them at SHOT. I'll ask and report back.
