rifle cleaning rods

I have rods of a few different size. Best are 1 piece, but for long black powder guns I have some segmented steel rods (with muzzle guards). PH, Tipton, and Dewey’s are all great.

I like the handle shape better then other brands.

No cons that I've encountered through the last ten years

I’ve used Dewey coated rods for years. Replacing them today I’d probably choose Boretech.

I have been using Parker Hale one piece rods for 50 years... made adapters to use American brushes...

Same here. Mine are still going strong.

I was told to get a Dewey rod. I bought one years ago and finally went to use it and found I bought the wrong one. No where can I find anything that fits the end of it around here and have no idea what to order online that could work either. Have thought if I had time to try and make an adapter from is weird threads to what all my other jags and brushes have.

Bore Stix & don't look back w/ correct... insert bore guide.

Dewey-70's technology, male thread or female threaded rod....JUNK.

Carbon fiber-wear your safety glass & gloves...when it shatters.

I've been using a "KleenBore" branded coated steel rod for the past decade. Aside from some of the coating scratched off, it's been a very good, well-used, one-piece rod.

Not picky on brands, I like the steel monolithic 30'+ ones that you can jack into a power drill without stripping the threads on.
