Does anybody have info on the accuracy of a TC Pro Hunter in a .223 vs a Remington VSSF II or a Remington XCR TLR in the same caliber at the 400-600 yard range. Is the TC better or worse than the Remingtons in the same caliber

They're all the same. There are individual differences, but as a whole, no brand is particularly better than another.

They are for more than muzzle loading. I love my TC Venture...real nice rifle.

The folks that i know of that have seriously bench tested these rifles for extreme accuracy are back to the Rem. and savage bolt guns pretty quick. They may have application with their interchangeability, but accuracy is not on a par with the more accurate boltguns.

Some are, not the pro-hunter or encore models. CF cartridges....

I guess I should have explained my self better, after owning a Thompson Center Encore Pro Hunter with 6 different Center Fire barrels of which 3 were custom shilen barrels built in the States,, they are a good hunting rifle,, but I spent a LOT of hours, money and frustration, trying to make them shoot aswell as a Rem VSSF or VSSF II, of which I had 4,, I am saying that leave the Thompson Center Encore ,, as a hunting rifle,, or what they were suppose to be used for a Muzzleloader.

he asked about a Thompson Center Encore,,? so this my opinion,, and I would think it counts after as much time I have put into making them shoot.
