I had to work a twelve hour shift today on three hours sleep because I stayed up so late last night to find out what the offer is. I woke up in the middle of the night drooling on my keyboard with the letter J and the number 4 stuck to my forehead. I sure hope it was worth it!

With all due respect John, you've been in the business for a long time. How could you have not expected negative response whether you have delivered or not? The internet affords the anonymity to vent out frustrations and anger in complete safety. Something you go toe to toe with on a regular basis. Not to mention that you can't win all the battles. Haters will show up.

John, the hate is not coming from the fact that it is $1, but that it was slated for a Friday reveal but didn't get revealed. Folks feel betrayed. "Why would they feel betrayed?" you may be thinking. Well, look at it this way. In 12 hours of your announcement, this thread received 20000+ views and 600+ comments with 95% of them expressing interest in your incredible and quite unbelievable offer. John, that's how many people trust you and your business. Don't forget word of mouth, too. The amount of negative responses is actually quite low. That means two things, your statement of Monday reveal has quelled the masses OR the worst one, delays and/or waits are expected normal service.

Now before you get all rage and start belittling me (and you too, forum members), I'm not #####ing about about the amazing deal (I can barely buy candy for $1 let alone a firearm). Notice, I'm just presenting an observation. I can definitely wait until Monday. Hell, even the next week. Keep up the good work to you and your staff.

P.S. I can guarantee that you are going to get negative responses on such an advertisement on any other site. CGN is quite tame, actually. So don't let the hate stop you from offering amazing deals.

I think Mr. Marstar should get things proof read before he posts. I logged off this thread at 1000, before the "deal" was announced. So........What is the "deal"? Red Ryder BB gun ammo for a $1 a box? LOL!!!!!!:rolleyes:

However I can assure you and the folks here at CGN that we will never make a similar offer at any time in the future, I cannot beleive the flak we are catching because of a proposed giveaway
