Wouldn't it be NR?
Christ what an ugly gun. I wish the Italians had chose something more aesthetic and durable, that plastic looks awfully cheap. When I was in Italy last summer all the military guards around the main tourist attractions had these with backup irons and an aimpoint mounted on top. The stock looks really cheap as well.
These guns have proven to be very reliable and robust. Ugly sometimes is that way, ie: AK47, Glock, etc.

Agreed. Lol. Practicality and reliability is beautiful, even if the shape isn't. Over time, it becomes beautiful to the eye, but it has to earn it.
I'll take that as a good description of my GlockSometimes it is the utilitarian lines that make it reliable. Function over form when it comes to guns. Other things - maybe not so much.
22lr versions are non/restricted depending on barrel length
After I read this thread I fired a email off to Stoeger Canada today. I enquired if Beretta was going to modify and resubmit the Beretta ARX100 and try for a reclassification. The answer was no. Rather unfortunate answer as I was more then willing to poney up some money for one.
