Good day to all: Wondering if anyone can help inform me about an recent acquistion. I have a rifle here is excellent condition, that has stamped on the barrel Eaton Company model 100 .270 Winchester. The rifle has a beautiful checked stock with a raised cheekpiece, a hinged floorplate. The action is a FN mauser type with a sliding safety on the RH side of the bolt. I am hazarding a guess that the rifle is of late sixties to early seventies vintage. I will try and upload some photos later, but does anyone have any ideas as to the manufacture that might have made this for the T Eaton company?
Thanks to all in advance and have a great day!
Eatons sold many of the same rifles that were handled by Interarms which was/is a world wide small arms distributor. The rifle could of been manufactured by Churchill Arms, or Parker Hale, among others.
