Rifle Length AR's?

So, my search-fu is letting me down tonight. I am looking for info and threads on rifle length AR's. I am looking for something at the economy end of the scale, preferably with a heavy barrel. I am not adverse to building one if there are bargains to be had on lowers, uppers and barrels that I am not noticing on our various site sponsor websites.

Any direction to some threads and/or info on components would be most appreciated.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately every Armalite they show is sold out. Not that I am in a big hurry, but "sold out" in Canadian gun owner speak means we won't see anything for 6-8 months.

I also think ArmsEast is expecting some Stag Model 4's (20") in soon from a post I read earlier. Seemed to me they were around the $1500 bracket when they last had them.

But I would contact Walter for a STAG on this one. (Arms East)

Those 20" 15's he was selling were a hot item. I hope he can provide them again.
