Rifle mounted video camera while hunting.... who has one

hey guys, I want to film a couple of my hunts this year in POV.
have a new gopro my buddy will wear but I want something to mount on the side of the rifle, small , light weight with quality picture and can handle the recoil.
Looking for real user comments and suggestions.
Got some fun stuff planned for this year and I want to get it on video ;)
 
Contour - not as popular as GoPro, but more streamlined, and has accessories that will allow you to easily strap it around the barrel, stock, mount it on your hat, whatever (edit - don't mount it on your hat if it will violate the hunter-orange rules for your province.)

LOL I'm kidding, not needed here
I will be installing a rail on the side or bottom of the forstock of a ruger scout in .308
 
You should talk to ardent. He did his last hunt with a go pro. I can't wait to get one mounted on the planes
 
We've got a go pro and I modified an old small wood crossbow stock it sits on. Works good for filming stuff.
Funny thing, I mentioned this all to another buddy of mine and he gets up and goes and rummages in his man cave for 5 or 10 minutes LOL
He produced a contour HD and said happy birthday LOL which isn't any time real soon but what the heck.
Gonna give it a go mounted to a rail under the stock
