Hey allz

Just a quickie. (Down boy, Down!)

I am in the market for another .22 plinker (I have a Remington Nylon66 the wife uses).

So My choices are:
A drop in bolt for my AR15
S&W MP15-22 (cheapest at Badger Supply 519) But Im not sure if there are 20+ round mags

Any other suggestions for "AR" like .22s? (Not 10/22s converted to look like an AR)

Thanks

Luke

For AR styled stuff, you've got the Remington, Ruger, and Mossberg. Main advantage would be they're not restricted and mags and accessories are cheap.
If you've already got an AR a Ceiner kit should run @200-250. He seems to have dropped the price on the spare mags, atm you can get 3x30 for $99 US which is a deal compared to what they used to cost.
For a genuine AR clone there's either the Smith or Colt. List price on the spare mags seems steep and atm the Smith 20's seem to be getting banned.
For the $550 or so you'd be out on a clone you could be very nicely set up with a conversion and spare mags with cash in pocket.

If you are looking for a realistic AR type I am selling my restricted Ap-74. 15 round mag, spare can be difficult to find, most accurate one before this years unleashing of the smith and wesson. If you want new then I would drop a conversion kit in your AR. If you would like a second gn to play with and tune up then my Armi AP 74 is great, if you want new go with teh Smithy.

Tactical Solutions M4 .22 complete upper FTW.

'Have one FS in the EE.. Seemingly expensive, but... Proper twist este for .22lr unlike dropping in a conversion kit.
Same look/feel/weight as a centerfire AR upper
