Rifle Purchase in 2007?

Nothing definite here, so that means I'll probably buy/sell several!:rolleyes:
I did just order a McMillan Edge stock that will be here some time this spring, if that counts!
First I have a couple projects to finish, then maybe a big bore lever gun, a couple 22 rifles and or maybe a decent 20 gauge if I run into one at a fair price.
I actually intend on doing more hunting and less trading, seems like a better plan.
 
Just layed away a left-over Browning BPR in 30-06. I pick it up in a few weeks. And if the Gun God's smile favorablly on me, maybe a new 223 WSSM for next Christmas.
 
................Was planning on another GuideGun for 2007 but lo and behold Wholesale in Edmonton had one left last week and i took it home. Real nice figure to the wood as well.:dancingbanana:
 
Ummmm..... well I think.....sure that would be nice, but....uhhh, too expensive.....ehhhh, that would do, oh ya already had one.......my goodness I can't seem to make up my mind. Oh, I think maybe something in a new Sako 85, like a 270...no,no,......7mm Remin...no, not that either....oh heck, a 338 Federal or something. Either I am simple minded or choosing a new toy is really hard. All I can guarantee is I'll be selling it in the exchange forum by December for my 2008 toy. Does anybody have one of those rifles that'll do anything for sale, 'cause I've been looking for one of those.:confused:
 
I'd like to get a new cast bullet long range rifle in 2007. Something heavy barreled in .45/70 up to .50/140 and leaning heavily towards .50/95 Express. Long range apreture sights are a must. Also would like to find a .308 HB in 2007. Always looking for interesting single shot rifles.
 
I may be in the market for another Savage 99c in .243 or .308 for a project gun... to be converted to 7mm-08 via rebarrel or rebore, powder coated, and fitted with a fibreglass stock.
 
Wife bought me the new Remington 7600P police patrol carbine in 16.5 barrel length but it is actually 16,7/8" with ghost ring sights. I put a leupold base on it and will put a 1-5x Leupold in Matt with an illuminated reticle. Have to invert or take off the rear apature as the rear of the scope might not clear the sight.
Handy for the Jeep or River boat. Back up for my Tikka T3 Tactical 300 Win Mag Moose gun. The little darling also bought me x2 10 rnd steel mags. No more loose ammo lol !!
 
I find the 204 Ruger to be an interesting little cartridge... I wouldn't mind picking one up this year. I'm just not sure what rifle yet!
 
I would love to buy nice .308Win in heavy barrel gun, possibly Remington with 1-12" twist to shoot to 600yr.
 
I don't know if I'm first out of the starter gate, but here's what I bought today. Marling 336XLR stainless. It's the new Leverevolution gun, and yeah it's a wussy 30-30. Here's the best part, I'm checking out my new gun, fondling it so to speak...guess what my wife says? .... "that receiver is just looking for some real nice engraving." Nice eh!
