Does anyone know of a bolt action rifle that is chambered in 7.62x39?? I want to buy a rifle that is affordable to shoot, I do not want an sks or cz 858 though. Your help is appreciated.

If you were really desperate for a bolt action 7.62x39 rifle, you might consider one of these, but don't buy one sight unseen. They can be pretty rough/crude. Norinco made SKS rifles are smooth and slick in comparison.
The Czechs make a really attractive 7.62x39 sporting carbine. Worth a second look.
Ruger made a run of stainless synthetic 77 Mk. II rifles in 7.62x39. You might be able to find one of these.

That's all that I know of.

Any other reason fof 7.62X39 other than affordability?

.223, 22-250 can be pretty inexpensive as well, some of the pistol cal rifles aren't too bad.

CZ/Brno also make a bolt in 7.62x39...model527 if iam not mistaken?

Remington 799 (mini-mauser) I believe comes chambered in the little 30 cal round.
