Rifle range at Oshawa Skeet and Gun Club

Hey there,

Anyone here a member at Oshawa skeet and gun club looking for a shooting buddy every once in a while?

I am a member at OSGC with restricted access to the rifle range due to current volume of members. I've been told that I can shoot at the range if I go in with an existing member (ya makes a lot of sense ).

None the less, I've been shooting a lot of shotgun, and quite frankly, I am itching to try my sks and (after I take the hand gun course at OSGC) my XD45.

So are there any members here that would not mind some shooting company every once in a while? I will treat the member with a few rounds of Skeet or trap (shotgun provided by me if you don't have one)

See below for rules supplied by the club president:

"If he doesn’t have a membership that allows access to the rifle range, he can’t take the handgun safety course or get an ATT thru the Oshawa club. Therefore he can’t bring his handgun to Oshawa.
A rifle is a different matter. He could go as a guest of a member with access but they must share the same bench. That way the guest isn’t adding to the congestion on the firing line. As a restricted access member he would not be required to pay the daily range fee.

I have already been offered the chance to sign up for the hand gun course. In fact, I just declined the one this weekend which they were willing to sign me up for, so I'm not sure how up to date your information is.

Anyhow, are you a member? Would you like to take up my offer or what?

I'm a member. PM me. I just started shooting skeet a while back. Looking for skeet people as most of my range buds do CQB etc and are tied up some weekends.

I'm on the waiting list with JAK1981 Does this mean if I'm a member at another club that sponsers my LTATT that I can't bring my pistol to OSGC?
provided I get full membership.

You're probably better off just calling OSGC. I don't know about you, but I am getting annoyed waiting for them to give me access to the range, it's been 6 months now for full price restricted memebership. They don't even know how much usage the range is getting in terms of numbers, or so they told me.....
