rifle scope import to canada

Just received the riflescope that won on ebay. I have asked the seller about the export and import law. Even the US postal service does not know about its existence.

Went on Wolfe's springs website and its international order has a $100.00 limit without requiring export license.

They won't know about it, but there's a chance it will get nabbed at the border. Sellers/sender eventually get nailed for shipping riflescopes from what I hear. I think a big Ebayer was had not to long ago for doing this
 
No, I am not advertising that I broke the law. Just wonder whether the law only applied to items valued over $100 US. I only found out the export and import regulation after I won the auction. Otherwise, I will not have bidded for the item.
