I really want to punch a big-game tag with my drilling this year. Hoping the 7x65R gets the job done.

A pair of no1s this year, bicentennial in 25/06 and a 458 lott. Really looking forward to the 25-06, it has been sitting unfired by me in the safe for a year and a half since I bought it. I hope to get time to sight it in this weekend and work up 120 gr aframe loads.

Originally planned to use Win 88 .308 with Zeiss 2x7 I acquired recently..... Ran out of time to sight it in....I will use my faithful Mini 30 & Balvar 1.5x6...... Who needs more for whitetails at 25 yards?

I had the terdy five for black bear season. Old girl did a great job!

No rifle for deer for me, shotgun, bow and muzzle loader for this year.

As always I will have my custom Mauser 7X57 but I will also bring my 1952 Win 94 30-30 for dogging and Hart built Rem 70 - 308 in Fiberglass for rainy days which looks like most of next week.

If it's wet... Stainless Zastava in 7x64.
If it's dry...I don't know, too many too choose from lol.
Always took my HVA 6.5x55 the last few years, it's the usual go to.
Although...the BSA in 6.5x55 hasn't been out yet, maybe drag that.
