Hi guys, I'm considering buying a rifle from Frontier Firearms but am not sure how the purchase process works when ordering online or through the phone and shipping it.

Do I have to be there personally to receive it since it's a firearms or can anyone sign for it? It's not something that I would want shipped to my work so I can receive it there, you know what I mean.

And do I usually have to email or fax them my ID and registration and information like that? Any info on the process would be great.

Thanks.

I've bought 2 rifles from Frontier Firearms and 1 from Marstar. At one time, you had to physically send in your FAC/PAL, but now you can just give them the info over the phone. You do have to have someone sign for it, but if there is no one home, they will leave it wherever your postal parcel pickup is (in my case, a nearby Shopper's Drug Mart). it costs around $20 shipping (regular Parcel Post). I was really satisfied with the service from Frontier (and Marstar) and will definitely buy from them again. One thing you may want to follow up on, depending on where you live, is to check with your CFO to make sure they process the registration in a timely fashion. Here in Ontario, they tend to let it sleep on someone's desk until you call to follow up.
