The Ontario Rifle Association is hosting a Vintage Rifle Shoot at Amiens Range, Camp Borden on September 26, 8:00 am.

Hunting rifles, vintage rifles and modern servicerifles are all welcome (separate classes). Shooting starts at 100 yards. The program includes 100, 200 and 300 ayrds and a strong possibility of a longer range, too.

Shoots are deliberate, snap and rapid fire, from the Standing position (100 yards) and prone at longer distances.

Bring at least 120 rounds of ammo. You are welcome to use different rifles at differnt ranges, if you have more than one to try out.

Bring a buddy, if you like. All shooting is done as pairs of shooters per target.

Open to all gun Nutz. Do not have to be an ORA member.

I will be there.

The first shoot was really fun, and a cool learning experience.

I really hope there will be time to try 500 meters.

The standing snap shoot was still my favorate event.

Sure wait till I move to have all this cool ####. I'm disappointed that I don't get to come but wish the best weather and a good turn out for the event.

Sounds like fun, I should actually be able to make it to this one!

Edit: is there anything else we need to bring, aside from rifles, ammo, ear and eye protection, and money?

Whats the procedure for Sat?

Are we all meeting somewhere in Borden such as Range control? do we need to check in somewhere or just proceed directly to the range?
