Looking to sell my rifle and wondering what a fair price is. It's a one year old Browning X bolt, stainless, synthetic, carbon fibre finish, fluted barrel. Comes with extra magazine, includes high quality integral bases and rings. Has seen less than a box of ammo, great shape with a few rub marks and one bigger scratch on the stock. Any thoughts? Very nice looking accurate rifle. Oh, and it's a 30 06.Thanks.

Thanks...just tried to do that for half an hour, now I'm no further ahead and have a headache. Guess if anyone can give me an idea the value without a photo or check it out on the Browning webpage...

This is too funny Yukon Brett !!, I have been trying to post pictures quite literally for years to no avail and yet some can seemingly do it in their sleep !
Seriously, if I started posting pictures of my stuff I could keep everybody entertained for a good while !
Nice to know I'm not alone.

Took me forever to learn how to post photos.
I figured I was retarded.
Watched all the help demonstrations on here, step by step and still frukc'd it up.
Then one day I got lucky and drove meself crazy as to how it worked.
Same as putting up youtube videos.

Next quest is gif's................................:runaway:

It still floors me that Canada, a supposedly development country, a G7 country, has trouble posting pictures given that extremely clear How to post pictures thread.

OK if you find HTML coding difficult but posting pictures.

In my case the problem is entirely mine because I have had plenty of coaching from my very Dear Friends on this site, but try as I might it simply doesn't work for me.

Yukon Brett, I'm sorry for the hi-jack...

Sorry, but most wouldn't consider that "great shape". Again, pics would help, and they'll help a lot if you post an ad. And define "high quality integral bases/rings". Manufacturer? Price new?

From your description, I'd say you're looking at $850 max., without pics. Do you have a smartphone? It's really easy posting with the photobucket app. Or shoot me a PM and you can email them to me and I'll post them for you on this thread.

go to photobucket and get an account, its free.
once you have an account there is a big blue button that says 'upload picture'
hit that.
it will then ask you where the picture is on your computer -> direct it to the picture (most cases its in your 'picture' folder unless you save them somewhere strange)
hit ok.

picture is now on photobucket.
look at the picture on photobucket, on the right side of the screen there are some html lines, take the one that says for use with websites (direct).

come back here, on the top of the white box you are typing in is a little cartoon picture, when you mouse over it it will say 'insert image'
hit that button.
right click your mouse into the box that pops up and click 'paste'
hit 'ok'

done.

Post it in the EE with good pictures and ask $950 and consider offers...
