Im not sure it this is the right place to ask, but what a heck

I have a win M70 Ranger in 30-06 that I want to sell, I had it since 1991, or so, and Im the second owner. There is no rust, bore is great, some wear showing on the coat of the wood.

How or where can I find how much to ask for it??
gunbrokers was no help since this kind of gun seems to be limited in production, or something like that, hard to find info on the net

The Ranger is/was the entry level Winchester of the day. No frills, birch wood IIRC. Sort of an Express model of sorts.

I say $400 would be tops, maybe less.

thanks guys

Im really split 50/50 on the issue, but this gun has became a safe queen latly, I wanted to turn it into project, but finding fiberglass stock for this model seems imposible, or is replacement stock for any M70 going to work on ranger?

my has a hinged floor plate, which is another thing that I would just love to change,

Pathfinder, link is not working

anyway, had a buyer but seems the guy cooled off, so I think I may go for project after all, I think Ill be starting a new thread in the gunsmithing section:)

O.K is there an actual forum toa sk this Question. Because ive got a model 70 338 Winchester with a bushnell elite 4200 scope I want to sell.Ive been asking a thousand. Its in god shape. The blueing is good and the stock has no nicks but the finish is faded a bit at the but. But I think Im just scaring people away. What is a Fair price. Not pre 64.

Not worth selling it, go ahead with your project;). Perfect start for a .338-06 or even the new King of the .375's, the .375 Ruger.:) (will need bolt face work for that one)

2007 guns and prices says-nib 400, exc 300, vg 275, good 225, fair 150, poor 100. blue book says 98% 300, 90% 225, 70% 180, 60% 160.

I'd probably value that around $850 with scope, certainly no higher. - dan
