rifled choke bird shot?

is it ok to shoot bird shot in a rifled choke? also can you fire the challenger and seller and bellot type rifled slugs in a rifled chaoke?

Birdshot through a rifled choke is going to give you donut shaped pattern that will be useless at any distance.the slugs that you are refering to all ready have rifleing pressed into them and are known as a foster type slug.you can probley fire them through a rifled choke but what type of accuracy you will get I can't say.

any shot through a rifled barrel will distort the wad and any pattern you'd like to see. Unless you're shooting at ten feet away, its a waste of a shell. Your shotgun is designed for sabot slugs, not shot.
