Rifled slugs in a rifled barrel?

I just finished mounting a scope my a new to me rifles 12g slug gun. this is my 3ed rifled slug gun.
We use to live very close to a cabelas and other smaller gun stores and I could quickly run and grab an assortment of sabot slugs.
We move a while back and now I am about 2h drive one way to a gun store/cabelas. I want to get this gun sighted in over the next day or so but I only have a small number of sabot slugs here. I have a larger number of rifled slugs. Before everyone goes saying rifled slugs for smooth bore sabot slugs for rifles barrel. I know but has anyone shot rifled slugs out of a rifled barrel befor? will I be able to do so and at least get on the paper and not have to waste sabot slugs getting close? Of course I will do the fine tuning with sabots.
Let me know your thoughts/ experiences
 
My understanding is its an accuracy thing more than a wreck your barrel thing.

I think the issue shooting those through a rifled barrel is leading piling up in the rifling as the rifled slug will be directly in contact with the rifling
I have the opposite issue as I bought a couple boxes of 20 gauge slugs for my Mossberg shotgun which is a smooth barrel but the slugs are sabot slugs for use in a rifled barrel
Not sure if I can shoot those through it either
 
There's no worries with factory ammo, Foster slug use in rifled barrels. Some slug loads may shoot tighter groups than others but accuracy is
better fer sure compared to slugs fired from smooth bore barrels. My Savage 212 shoots plain old Winchester 1 oz slugs well, though they
do tend to lead the bore up a tad after 20 shots or so. Sabots shoot a bit tighter groups at 80-100 yds but they be rather pricey.

I only use rifled slugs in my rifled barrel. Brenneke gold 3" mags are only for rifled barrels. I use alot of rip star and challenger breaker style knockoff slugs and theyre just fine from my rifled bore
Any ammo may or may not shoot to the same poi. Hornady sst sabots shoot nearly 2' high at 50 yards when I zero for challenger rifled slugs
 
Factory ammo can be shot in any factory barrel... some combinations will be more accurate than others.
 
Anyone wondering the rifled slugs did not shoot great in the rifled barrel but they got me on paper. On another note if anyone is trying to use the “no drill” style of shotgun scope mount like in the picture. Don’t waste your time or money. IMG_5300.jpeg
