Rifles you love to hate...

Any semi-auto,,, especially those that look like assault rifles and the AR-7 survival rifle.

Semi-auto's were designed for warfare (I'm a lover not a fighter,,,LOL) and law enforcement,, that should be where they stay.

The bolt action, the lever action, the single shot and the muzzle loader are all designed for warfare. Using your comments we shouldn't own any rifles. Shotguns where designed to clear decks of ships during wars. Bows, Cross bows, spears all are tools of war, leaves us with rocks and sticks have fun with that.

TC Encore ( or anything TC, really ). Most ungainly looking excuse for a single shot. So sick of seeing them everytime I turn on WildTV, like they're the greatest thing since smokeless powder, yet I don't know a single person that actually owns one.

Really handsome sporting rifles have been made for well over 100 years now, why is it so hard to follow the example??

I love to hate firearms that are produced with shortcuts in design, material, ergonomics and quality just to please the cheapskates that love Chinese made Walmart garbage.

Most of us here already who makes them and what models.

Browning A Bolt and Tikka T-3 Lites. Working the bolts on these things gives me the willies. They just fell so dang cheap and sloppy. Don't ike Weatherbys either. But at least they got rid of those bloody diamonds they used to inlet into the stocks!

So that would be Marlington. ;)

I hate anything made to a price-point. Sorry, but I would rather save for a few years and buy an expensive, well-made rifle. (note: expensive doesn't always mean good, and "cheap" doesn't always mean bad). I am proud to say that guns like the Russian SKS are the exception.

I hate naming names, because it may offend some gun owners, but I will never buy another American made firearm that costs less than $2000. Not worth the bloody risk!!

The tikka t3 lite because it's overpriced for what it is.The win 94 because it feels like an oversized daisy red ryder to me.The ruger 10/22 because i'm sick of listening to how much better it is than every other .22 once you replace every factory part.Any thing tacticool because the very term sounds childish to me.The t/c line because the bolts are plagued with recalls and the singles are way overpriced.

Sporterized military surplus rifles, those make me cringe every time I see one. Also when people take something like a SKS then put all there 'tactical' stuff on it. I don't hate any particular rifles only what people do to them.

Henry AR-7 Survival Rifle. Love the idea, love the company (my Henry .22 lever is one of my favourites) but the gun is so inaccurate it's basically useless. Wish it wasn't so.
