Rifles you love to hate...

Henry AR-7 Survival Rifle. Love the idea, love the company (my Henry .22 lever is one of my favourites) but the gun is so inaccurate it's basically useless. Wish it wasn't so.

Never heard about one of those for such a long time. What a piece of poo... I suppose it could be handy in an emergency... you can still drop a squirrel at 25 yards with one. :)

I hate to say it, but I love all my rifles. Even though I see they are hated by others, I could care less. LMAO.

That's the great thing, we still have a choice, though limited. I love the fact that we can own firearms othersove to hate.

Somethings ARE worth fighting for.....

Tokarov and browning xbolt and abolt. Toks cause there just plain ugly and unreliable. A bolts cause they tend to have high recoil even in tame calibers. And xbolts cause I've personally seen one blow up with factory ammo and one had to be sent back to factory cause after the first round was fired the bolt handle could not be lifted at all. Not even smacking it on the table would open it

Benelli. They just make one ugly firearm - it's like a mission statement. That said, I own and love a Super Nova, that in the off season serves as a tomato stake.

CZ858's because every wannabe amateur gunnut that I meet in conversation about guns seems to think they are the same thing as an AK

Anything Mossberg, even ruger is on the fence with their ridiculous SR-22. The 10/22 is a lot of fun without trying to be anything else. The SR-22 is just a poser.

Anything more expensive made by Remington than a 5R, because after that you are just paying for overpriced stocks and triangular barrels. I have a 5R barrel on a Remington custom so I might be biased though.

And finally every shotgun in the EE that has a muzzle breach and a side saddle on it, as if the butt stock of the shotgun isn't going to get you the same effect and if you runout after 4 shots your probably dead anyways. ridiculous

I'm guessin' you don't like 870s either.

Actually no, I have no issues with an 870. It's a shotgun and how I expect a shotgun to look and handle. I'm just adverse to that look and feel in a rifle. Being from Nova Scotia where the 7600/760's are actually quite popular I have plenty of friends that like them just fine, and that's ok with me. Just not my thing.

That's the whole point with the 760/7600s is that they handle much like the 870 with the same level of reliability and ease of operation. They're not for everyone, but then most folk who don't like them have not used them much.

OTOH .... I'm not crazy about bolt action shotguns either. :D

I'll second that. When Justin starts his ban, I hope he starts with these.:)

That is the worst policy out there. That's how terrible gun laws get forced down our throats. If you aren't willing to defend someone else's interest when it comes time for you to defend yours there will be no one else around to help. For example I don't like black rifles very much does that mean no one should have black rifles? No it just means I have my preferences.

Relax, take a breath. .......... That little smilie face on the end of his quote means he was joking.
