Rifles you love to hate...

For me it is looks...I'm so shallow. A model...gotta be the angled A-Bolt and x-bolts. Now, for rifles I hate to love...well that would be Savage, hands down. That pug bolt system is just fugly, but I own two and they are fantastic shooters, so the job gets done.

any bolt action save the Savage/Stevens 340/325 and its derivitives.

and any wooden stocked rifle with CHECKERING!

why in hell someone would spend serious coin on a beautifully figured wood, then RUIN it with checkering.

checkering is a waste of effort, and I have not found a rifle to ever need it.

Mannlicher stocked rifles. I understand that stock is for the barrel and not my hand, but they always get too narrow too soon, like they were built by a shipwright.

Guns I will never own:
Cooey 64's, TC Dimension and of course, Benelli shotguns (the ugly ones). Not super fond of remington 700's since every one I've tried didn't cleanly pick up shells from the mag.
Everything else is an option if the price is right and there's room for it in my budget/safe and I have a use for it.
I am a fan of SKS, most norincos, A-bolts etc.
