here's a box labelled S.A ball 30/06 . C broad arrow,, ink stamped Dec3 1941.. but on the headstamp, there is no date of 1941 or 41 on the rounds.. and manuftr is Defence Industries Ltd, (D I or D I L?) .. the pict may not be clear but the headstamp says D.C. Co. 30 SPG.. so big question is this WW2 ammo or someone did the ol switch-a-roo. I bought this stuff a few years ago at a gun show.. and didn't really check it then either, was even more of a newb then..
