Before buying a truck load of Bulk ammo I'd like to get some feedback on a couple of products that we are currently using for my wife's Buckmark .or alternatives.

To begin with, I am a big CCI fan in general but cost and NON lead (i.e cleaning) is an issue and was looking at some Federal Bulk AMMO as an alternative to BLAZERS that her Buckmark seem to like.

What say you on quality, consistency, accuracy etc and finally cost.. this is primarily for range use (TARGET).

So far no trend has been extablished on 500 rounds fired ..

I've found the European .22 is lubed and shoots clean. Lapua, Eley RWS. RWS Target Rifle shoots the best in my 10/22. $47 a brick from Target shooting Products
Some of the Lapua rifle match (yellow box) has a powder that burns with an unpleasant smell though.
I have a Browning Challenger and 1911/22 and it all shoots well with both. Their Target Pistol doesn't always cycle properly.
 
I have never found that the copper clad bullets ran any cleaner than the uncoated ones. My Ruger 22/45 loves Federal 525 pack ammo and goes 750+ rounds between cleanings with no loss of accuracy. The guns that don't like the 525 ammo seem to run well with Winchester Dynapoint GT's. The Winchester 555 ammo works well for me, too, but has not been as versatile as the other two for functioning in a wide range of guns.

As far as bulk ammo goes, I've been most impressed with cleanliness and consistency of Remington Golden Bullet (HP plated), Blazer, and AE 40gr solid (LRN). As Mark said, lead isn't necessarily the problem.

FWIW, the Federal 525 works well in all my 22s, but it is neither clean nor visually confidence inspiring.

That sounds quite serious. Have you ever had this happen to you?
 
Perhaps this will not help, but I also find CCI Blazers are the only choice for both my GSG1911 and SIG226 classic. I tried just about every other locally available (and reasonably priced) ammo and there was no match for the Blazers. And they really do run clean.
