So I am curious to know why some people pick certain caliber's of ammo in comparison to others.
Not bashing anyones opinions just wondering...
Why shoot 22 wmr when it is the same price where I am located for the same amount of 17hmr ammo, plus 17 hmr even with a heavier grain round is still faster then any 22 wmr round?
Also I dont see the point of 17hm2, if your going to spend that much on ammo why not go to 17hmr? it is easier to find in stores.
22lr > 22 short : LR is easier to find, still cheap for the quantity of ammo, good stoping power up to 100 yards, faster velocity on LR
17hmr > 22 wmr : 17hmr both are easy to find, same price, but 17 has a much higher velocity
17 hmr > 17 mach 2 : why not just buy in hmr? almost there, harder to find hm2, hmr has faster velocity
I do know that wmr round has been out way before hmr, so it makes sense to have owned one prior to hmr
please explain your choices and why!!!
