I posted it on the rimfire section, but maybe someone here can help..?

Got the Krico 22LR in the mail today. I decided to take the bolt out for some cleaning. I clicked the button on the left of the stock (kinda like a Win 70 IIRC) and pulled the bolt out. Lo and behold I can't get the bolt back in!! I tried everything, including:

pushing the button while pushing the bolt
pressing the trigger while pushing the bolt

It seems to me the problem is something out of the trigger assembly (I disassembled the stock for a better look) is blocking the bolt from going back into its position. I pull the trigger and a little bit of that protrusion goes down, but not enough to let the bolt slide through. I can use a screwdriver to push that part down but I can't do that while sliding the bolt in (it blocks each other).

I haven't taken apart the trigger assembly/housing because I know it will be a complicated, if impossible job for me to put back together, and I don't even know if it will help.

Please someone help me! And forgive me, mods, if I posted this in two sections. Let me know if this isn't kosher.

Rishu, make sure the safety is off or the trigger engage the sear, also press the button on the left at the same time you pull the trigger. How did you clean the bolt, ie did you do a tear down or just degrease and oil???

"...haven't taken apart the trigger assembly/housing..." Don't either.
Try pushing the button and pulling the trigger while putting the bolt back in.
Did you get a manual?

Safety is off.

I tried pushing the button and pulling the trigger at the same time.

(the bolt-cleaning part is the least of my worries for now, but yes, degrease and oil is what I aim to do)

No manual, unfortunately... and couldn't find one on the intraweb...

I am not familar with that gun, but sometimes
I have run into some that you push the trigger ahead
, not pull it- just a thought

Maybe the bolt has slipped out of sequence. If it is a slip in mag fed, the flat face of the bolt has to be down and the handle turned into position to slide into the slot. Then usually pulling the trigger allows the slide in.

It's a single-shot, if that makes a difference. Tried pushing the trigger the other way, no go either.

Still no luck. Probably gunsmith tomorrow...
