Other than me turning into a spending machine when I go in there, I can find nothing wrong with P&D. Great selection, good pricing and most important of all, excellent customer service.
Other than those mentioned above, which all have good selection, don't try wild west, they have horrible selection of .22.
Canadian tire and walmart also have decent selections of .22s.
P & D is fine ...But I've tried all the lot #s that they have that interest me...so am just looking for a place that has different lot #'s. I'm on the quest to determine what shoots best in my rimfires. Have found a few that are decent, but will not rest 'till Ive tried 'em all. Who knows, the best could cost $1.70 a box at Canadian Tire!!!
Canadian Tire stocks Federal solids, and hollow points. Their bulk box of 525 hollow points was less than $20.00. I have to go back and check if they will discount bricks of the S's and HP's. I had excellent results with CCI SGB(small game bullets) the other day .3, .6 and .7 at 50 meters. The Fed's averaged around 1" which is still a "Minute of Gopher".
I wouldn't classify Wholesale as having a great selection of 22 ammo, P&D might be more expensive than some other places but I think their selection is pretty good. Lots of Eley, CCI, Win, Fed, American Eagle, some Rem,some PMC,.FS
