Rimfire goals 2017?

Looking at doing the 100 and then maybe 200m shotgun shell challenge with my best friend and roommate. 7 shells mounted above the paper target, take turns shooting, whoever gets 4 first has dinner bought for them. We both bought Savage MK II BV 22's so the rifle shouldn't be the deciding factor. I may trade my BDC reticle for a Nikoplex for better accuracy at 200m, however.

I astutely observed that Wolverine Supplies had them coming in just before Christmas, ironically enough he posted this just under you grauhanen :)

I made sure to secure my order before they even got listed on the website, noting how recently at CZ-USA these triggers were sold out the instant they arrived. Actually oversold by 6, some poor folks are back ordered once again :( I'm not sure how many Wolverine brought in, but they are now on the site for sale. If you want one, I'd suggest you do not hesitate and buy it now.

Thanks. If things ever changed and I thought I'd get another 455 I would certainly keep that in mind.

My goal for 2017 is just to go out and shoot my .22s more. At least once a week, would be a great improvement compared to the monthly range trips in 2016.
Easyrider604, probably the same problem that I have--just too dayum far to a decent range from Vancouver. I have the additional problem of having to drive the entire length and width of Vancouver just to get to Highway 1 (I live near UBC). It's a regular 1½-hour trip for me each way to Abbotsford.

Me 3. Though my 2017 goal is to fill up the safe. I see a Savage Mark II in 2017

Sorry to here of your travel distance situation, SP. I am 20 minutes to either POCO range and DVC. This is my second year with DVC and in spite of proximity, still manage to go only once or twice a month at best.

I have resisted moving to other cities because I am at least close to the range and my RC flying field.

For me, I definitely have to make the time, or it aint gonna happen.

Have you thought of moving closer?

What's DVC? Handgun range? Not familiar with it. I shoot rifle and belong to both Ridgedale (Abbotsford) and the Mission R&G.

DVC is an indoor range. Originally only pistols, .22lr rifles and shotguns were allowed. I believe that by upgrading their backstops, they allow up to .223 rifles now. Maximum distance is only 17 meters.

To sell all the ones I should cull to lack of use; mount new Leupold on my Marlin Levermatic 22WMR; and use/sell all he WMR ammo that doesn't group well.

I just did exactly that this week!! I sold 1200rds of my .22wmr ammo that my Magnum Research didn't like to a guy at work. Using that $$ to purchase 800rds of what it does like. CCI 40G Maxi-Mags

I hope to scope and shoot my Custom Cooper .17 HMR that has been sitting in the safe, unfired since my daughter was born ( she is almost 6 now)

I am planning to upgrade the barrel and trigger on my 10/22 this year and use it more often. Just gotta move something out of the safe to fund this and another project.

I think I remember seeing photos of that thing 6 years ago! :) That rifle is probably yearning for a trip to a gopher patch!

My Savage mk2 needs a scope upgrade. The one I grabbed out of a box of scopes at a gun show leaves a bit to be desired lol.
