Buddy of mine thats a mod on another site (Savageshooters) needs a mag for this but we don't know what kind of gun it is. Looks like it's wearing some kinda Mauser rear sight.

Its Russian made by Russian State Arsenal - Tula in 1937.

Any other receiver markings?

Have to dig for a specific model.

I thought it was Tula as well but then I smacked myself thinking Tula had a diamond with an arrow proof mark?

That's the commercial mark for Tula

From "7.62x54r.net" the military markings.

Nope, no more markings except for a 4 digit serial number on the bolt, 25XX.

I believe its a TOZ-9.....

Someone with more knowledge in Russian rimfires please confirm....

Toz I think. Rear sight is mosin nagant leaf style. Might actually be mosin nagant. Need closer pictures.

You' might wanna just make a wood insert ramp to make this a usable single shot rifle, and call it a day.
