Im just wondering if there is any limit on how many rounds you can have in a semi auto .22 when hunting

yeah someone told me that you could just take a 30 rnd mag in your 22 and shoot all the grouse or other small game you could see. He said that there is nothing the officers can do but i dont think the would be too happy

I just took all my courses PAL RPAL CORE and there is only a restriction on Center FIRE ammo. .22LR/L/SL have no restriction other then whats the biggest Magazine made for your gun. So go find a 30 round mag or a 50 round drum and PLINK away.

My understanding is that there is no legal limitation in a non-restricted rimfire used for hunting. Where you get into capacity limits is in restricted firearms and centrefire hunting arms.

got a 10/22 with 2 25 round clips (back to back) and never had a problem in Alberta from fish and game check local laws to be safe

Well how many, and when you can harvest would come down again, to your hunting regulations.

The officers would be unlikely to want to do anything given the lack of laws against mag size for .22 rimfire.
