Rimfire optic: Bushnell or Tasco?

Hi,

I'm looking to spend < 60$ for a .22 scope and I've found a Tasco MAG22 3-9x32 and a Bushnell .22RIMFIRE 3-9x32, both at 49.99$.

Has anyone had any experience with either? Any other suggestion for the price? It would be going on a Marlin 7000.

I don't think there is much difference between the two scopes you mentioned (Bushnell owns Tasco). I have the Tasco version on an old Mossberg semi. I have no complaints about mine. I use it for plinking and small game.

Is Tasco a 'low grade' subsidiary of Bushnell?

I have the Bushnell 3-9X 32 ...Bright / clear ... I also tried a Bushnell Banner 4 - 12 X 40 AO which worked well on paper but was a pain to continually adjust the AO while shooting gophers .... so I put the 3-9 back on!
