So I've decided on a style of scope I'd like to put atop a CZ452 or Sako Quad, the only problem is I don't know WHO makes such a beast.

My ideal rimfire scope is going to have a decent magnification range, particularly a nice low end. Ex, 2.5-10, finger adjustable turrets with an audible tactile click, no parallax adjustment so I don't have to #### around with focusing.

My budget is roughly 500 dollars, MAYBE a bit more.

Can it be done? :D

I have a Vortex Viper 3-9x40. No parallax setting. It works awesome. I have it ontop my Savage 17hmr. I shoot at 300 yards some times. Dial up 16moa and I'm in the ballpark for 300 yards from my 100 yard zero.

The scope is clear at 10 yards but the cross hair is not. (It may be different with some one elses eye, I can only tell you what I see) Its still visable enough to make a shot at 10 yards but would not work for 10 yard target shooting. If I open my other eye I can see the cross hair tho. Once you get out to 15-20 yards the cross hair is crisp as well as the image.

I would recomend the 3-9 because it has a good price compaired to the viper HS line. But I would expect that the HS's would be higher quality and maybe they would work better at 10 yards.

the HS won't be available until june / july. at low magnification, you can ignore the parallax. at high mags, too close will get fuzzy.
