Rimfire optics

I recently acquired a Mossberg 715t flat top with peeps. I am not a fan of peeps in general but want to keep them as a buis system, I am looking for advice on a red dot system for close in brush but am also seriously considering a fixed power 3-4x for picking off gophers. I don't want to get to carried away on cost and want to keep the tacticool look.

I hana a Browning Holosight on mine. Cost about $62 from P & D when I bought the gun. My nephews have 3-9x33 scopes mounted on theirs. When they seen mine, they liked it. Doesnt bust the bank and works fine.
