Allright so although my firearms buying spree started with Milsurps, I now had quite a bit of fun shooting .22LR and would like to get a new 22 in the near future, I already have a Rhineland R22 and will be picking up a 597 VTR this friday and since I have a tendency to plan ahead I would like it if I could figure out whats the next .22Lr I would buy so here are my criteria and hope you guys will be able to suggest interesting models

-Tactical looking
-Light weight as the girlfriend will be shooting it also ( not to important as can always be mounted on a bipod and shoot from a table )
- have available high cap mags
-have a nice finish and preferably not plastic or polymer
-MP5 or M4 look would be a plus

Please note I am already aware of models like the ISSC Mkii (something like that) and the 715T and I have little if no interest in these, And before anyone suggest it I would rather not get a 10/22 and change the stock as my dealer is trying to get me one with a Red or Purple Laminated Stock and will certainly leave it on.

I see that you've mentioned no 10/22s, but have you considered a Ruger SR 22? It fits your description to a T. Except that it's a tad on the heavy side. Otherwise, it meets all of your criteria.
 
I was a little unclear I do want a 10/22 but I will not change for a tactical stock as I dont like the fit and finish , as per the Pieetta I alredy owned one and traded it off for the R22,
