Russian MU-12 22LR
Manufactured in the 50's. This is the one I use the most, mainly for 3P shooting at the local range, it weighs around 15.5 Lbs. Great for offhand shooting.

My matched pair of Cooper rimfires, one in 22lr,the other in 17Mach2.Both wear Kahles CL 3-9x42 scopes. The 17Mach 2 has become my favorite rimfire cartridge for hunting small varmints.

Very nice SJ

They aren't fancy, but they have great optics, and they are both very accurate.

I have fired five shot groups as good as .265" at 50 yards with the 22lr using S K Standard Plus loads. At 100 yards groups range from 3/4" to 1".
Someday,I need to try some high end match ammunition to see just how small I can get those groups.

I haven't shot the 17Mach2 all that much at targets, but it has produced .300" groups at 50 yards and 100 yard groups average from 1/2" to 3/4",on a calm day with Eley loads.

In both cases I had 3-9 Leupold rimfire scopes mounted, and with my cataract,I was having issues seeing the crosshairs properly. Now that the cataract is gone, and I have much better scopes, whose crosshairs I can see much better,I am expecting even better accuracy.

My oddball .22

This started life as a Lee-Metford .303 but was converted into a single shot .22lr trainer for the British Royal Navy and accepted into service around 1912. It's a great shooter and I've enjoyed it immensely.
