And now for one you don't see to often in these parts, 2500 made in total, not as smooth as my 1827F but still very nice!!! More like the Russian 7-4's that came after this one.

I wondered where that gun ended up. Handled it here in Calgary. Cool and rare old gun, Congrats on snagging that one!

Thanks, I was amazed when I found out the barrel is only 12.5" long and the rest is just a sight extension tube threaded to the barrel 2" inside the forearm. Still shoots good for a shorter barrel. A cool bit of history here. :d

Edit to add a sneak peek at a new toy set up and a second new CZ455 with the factory barrel in to test for accuracy vs the Lilja Barrel it came with. Need a less extreme mount for the folder as the AI 45moa one is too much.
March on CZ455 folder

New CZ455 with two barrels (Var Stock and Lilja Match) and a Boyds laminate stock, bedded action and barrel, all the DIP goodies and a crazy light trigger. Next to my soon to be completed custom folder setup.

Savage BGTVXP (93R17) .17HMR

Just picked up this .17HMR online from Cabela's. Came with the Bushnell Sharpshooter 3x9x40 and I added the bipod.

What type of groupings. I saw one at local range ,said he had it bedded still fist size groups at 100 yards. (big bigger tbh, could have been the shooter though...)

I was sort of wondering what kind of groups I should expect at 100m. The first time I took my Mark II out (my first .22lr bolt gun), it was hitting a fist size group at 100m with CCI Standards and was pretty disappointed. I was expecting sub MOA as I’ve had no troubles with my 10TR or 700 at that distance, but with the Mark II, I was denied. I’d like to think it was the limitations of the equipment and the ammo, but I’m not a very good shooter so it was probably shooter error.

I did some reading though, and seems like the benchmark gauge for accuracy on a .22LR is 50m?

1/2" at 50yds is pretty much the established benchmark for rimfires. This does not necessarily mean your gun will shoot 1" groups at 100yds. Rimfires are exponentially more difficult to shoot tight groups at extended range than centerfires (generally speaking).
Having said that 1" at 100yds is not an unreal expectation. Consistency of your ammunition will be a critical factor.
