Rimfire Pics...Show em off!!!

Just about done. All I need is the grip (maybe a flash hider/fake can) and I'll have a clone of the sand colored one below.

It is a snow day on the Island. So in a valiant effort to avoid the “Honey-Do List” I figured that I would take some photographs and post to the CGN.

From top to bottom:
Ross 1912 (sport?)
Anschutz /CIL 190
Walther Sportwaffentabrik (JJK?) with a homemade stock to get it down to the 4.5 kg needed for the Canadian Sporting rifle rules. I also had to add a spring to the trigger to get it up the 1 kg pull.
Savage/Anschutz Mark 12 it also has a homemade stock but this one is to fit a southpaw.
Anschutz Super-Match 1913
Anschutz Match 1907 LH, this is a true left hand bolt action rifle with both the bolt and the sight adjustment on the correct side for a southpaw.

How long did those stocks take you to make? And where did you get the wood?

This pic is a bit washed out but only had it out once with a temp ring and scope set up, looks way better in person!

My picture is broken. Of course. I'll work on that.

my pietta Pps50 with Wildcat stock 3-9x50 dx Chinese score. Fun. Hefty all made of steel. I'm using well teflon lubricated blackdog drums with success.

Blowback is louder than I expected and especially so wroth the hyper velocity ammo. Only major criticism is it won't eject rounds unless it's actually being fired. I think the extraction pawl is not as sharp as it could be amd it needs the back pressure to seat the round into the bolt face. a Little wiggle in the bolt handle and it will extract without fI ring but not handy.

Luckily it is reliable and I've only had a couple malfunctions even with the drums. One other area of concern is the guide for the recoil springs. Spot weld the pins in or they will wiggle loose...mangle the springs etc.

The balance is great, feels like a real firearm not a toy for the kids.
