Anyway... Just got my FV-SR yesterday
Hawke Varmint SF 2.5-10x44 on the way, undecided on rings. But DAMN is this thing a hoot to shoot

They are a nice little set-up... I have mine in a Boyd's also with a Hawke Varmint SF in 3-12X... it shoots;

Looking very good. Looks to me like someone is doing some ammo testing? What's shooting good in the FV-SR? I just picked one up.

So far, CCI minimags are at the top of the list! I've only tested them and american eagle HP's in one of my fv sr's, I have a box of federals and AE solids to test as soon as the weather shapes up!

Haha you're in the same situation as me. I'm waiting on the AE and Fed solids as well but was hoping you'd already shot them.

I have the AE solids and federal 525 HP on hand, as soon as I get some results ill revive my FVSR thread, maybe make a new one based solely on accuraccy

Federal 711B, Mini-Mag solids, Bulk Blazers were surprisingly good too... for cheap stuff give the Blazers a try.
