Rimfire Pics...Show em off!!!

I have a Jim Williams prepped Suhl 150 that is arguably, the most accurate rimfire I have even owned.
With the 36x Leupy on top, it is capable of shooting in the .1's at 50M [If the driver can do his part, lol]

The Target was shot at 50M, these are 10 shot groups.

The parrallax on the diamond back i am looking at is 100 yards. Is there any issues when using in an indoor range?

Never had a problem with mine at any range. I can get .5 or less groups at 50 yards with 100 yard parallax with a 22. I didn't even know what parallax was until about 2 months ago. I just buy a scope I like and use it. In the gopher fields I don't really have the time to range every shot and adjust the scope. It just spot and shoot. Holding over if you need to.
If you are into only target shooting might want to get an adjustable parallax. Although when I got my cz I was shooting .3xx groups at 30 yards indoors with a scope that has a 100 yard parallax

I am just getting back into shooting again after about 35 years since leaving Sask. eyes not that good anymore so trying to get something that will work well at indoor range and out in the field.

I understand that. I don't like fiddling with dials when out hunting so I just get whatever scope looks the best for my price range. I use mine indoor or outdoor from 25-200 yards when at the range. I've had some shots on gophers where I Gould almost put the barrel on the gopher. For me doesn't matter about adjustable parallax.

If you do not want to make an unexplained error when seriously shooting targets, you must have parallax adjustment.
Too easy to make a small error that will cost you the match without it.

Well I don't think I will be doing any of that. Just shooting targets at the range and probably gophers.

That about explains what I want.

Simple solution with a parallax dial, keep it set low like the power dial, if the target is farther away, you have time to turn it up.
I get that but the scope I am looking at has the parrallax set for a hundred yards. Just not sure if that will be ok at a indoor range. I have never had a scope before on any of the guns that I had in the past so lots to learn.

Most recent addition to the family. CZ 455 American, fresh from Wolverine. 7 days from order to delivery, simply outstanding.

Going to throw a Weaver 3x9 on the American, and some Brno peep sights from Denny on the Lux.
Heading to the range on Sunday, can't wait!

.22LR I also have a .17HMR barrel, but will have to open up the channel as it has a very beefy contour.
Only minor beef is the checkering. Not as good as on the Lux, looks pressed rather than cut.
Was going to do some reloading tonight, instead I'll give my new friend a good scrubbing to remove that damn preservative gunk CZ insists on using.

I received my PAL earlier this month and I've finally bought my first rimfire. It's a Savage Mark II TRR-SR .22LR, with a Redfield 3-9x42 Revenge scope, and a standard Champion Target 6-9" bipod. Going to be using it primarily for target shooting out to 100 yards. Can't wait to get out and shoot 'er! :)

For a self professed noob, you did very well on your weapon and equally well on your photography... you are going to love that gun... don't ever sell it, I promise you will regret it.

Thanks :) My job is graphic design, so I know my way around photoshop and photography.
I came from the airgun target shooting world, which gave me a basic knowledge of guns - rimfire seemed to be a perfect "next step". Been reading up on what rimfire rifle to purchase while waiting for my PAL and really liked the Savage Mark II lineup when I saw it.

Bowzy.... Nice rifle! your doing it right, right from the start :)

Also any time you wanna come take some pics of my rifles that would be great! haha

But really, nice pics and nice setup :)

Also what rings are those? made by weaver if im not mistaken?

Actually they're just some leftovers I had from my Benjamin Trail NP air rifle - it had some Centerpoint 3-9x40 scope that came with it. It's currently wearing a red dot - so I just took the rings from that until I order some. Local store didn't have any so this made due.

I'd like to purchase a muzzle brake like this one in the top left to complete the look:

Oh fair enough, I'm keeping my eye open for a set similar to that for my FV-SR's.
Like the way they look.

And yes! that is a super nice brake! let me know if you ever find some if you wouldn't mind?
