Rimfire Price Check

Me and my gopher shooting buddies are out to buy my yearly supply of rimfire ammunition. Recently I have noticed a increase in the price of rimfire ammunition. I'm wondering if this is just a local increase or if it is Canada Wide.

So in an attempt to find out if its just locally and Nationally how much does rimfire ammunition cost in your area, what brand is it and how many rounds are in the box???

Note* Yes I know rimfire ammunition is already dirt cheap but we are looking to buy 5000 rounds each (hopefully in a bulk case deal) and wouldn't mind saving afew bucks

yeah, all ammo has gone up alot. i used to buy my bricks of .22 for 15 bucks each. now their almost 30 bucks a pop.

Yup....the $30 per 1000 seems the going price now ( 333s at Wal-Mart), I guess many more are shooting small bore as big bore is getting harder to find in some calibers. When the demand goes up, the prices does too.

If the 500 bricks are now $30. the store is sure gouging. I would look around at a few new purchasing places. Even a drive to the next town to buy quantity would be cheaper.
