have a couple of spotting scopes that work well but thinking might need a set of binos for use out to say 400-500 yards
spotting scope on a bipod might not be as handy as binos
side benefit is getting out my wallet quickly when attending a match to buy more stuff, tripod in,hands when walking does not lend itself to closing a quick deal on the run. (ha-ha)
Higher power the better but not to big, just want to see hits and stuff
cheaper is ok as long as it does the job, I have a cheap set of 7 x 35 or 50,I think somewhere but wonder about new stuff as they must be 20 years old or more
