I'm new to scopes and am learning as I go along. I have a CZ452 Lux and have been looking for a good mil-dot scope, to shoot short and long range (200yrds).

I've narrowed it down to two scopes (in my narrow mind): A Millet (without AO) and a Bushnell (with AO).

Is one better than the other, how important is AO? Or should I go in a different direction. Any advice and suggestions are welcome! :)

Adjustable Objective allows you to focus the elements(lenses) for specific ranges. This aids in reducing parallax. If you're not super serious about accuracy then its not really an issue, as the optics with non adjustable/fixed objectives are generally set to be "parallax free" for 50 yards and beyond, some are set for 10 yards and beyond. Seeing as how you're starting out with optics, I would go with a fixed and focus on the other aspects of optics first.
