rimfire scope help

I have a burris rimfire 3-9x40 on my rem model 5, seems to be a very good scope,i think i paid around $200 for it.

Do you have a budget in mind? What kind of shooting are you doing and what's it going on?

I put a Bushnell 3-9x40 on my kids Cooey and it's great for what we do but it would suck on a SR22 or the like, so it depends what it's for I guess.

I wanted to put it on a savage mark II .. just to do some target shooting .. I dont really want to spend more than 200 for it either.

i have a few bushnell trophy xlt 3-9x40 on my .22's and they work great for the money
$149 range). you should check out the vortex crossfire line aswell. nice little scope for the money. i have the crossfire 4-12x40 AO mounted on my 10/22 VLEH and it really does the trick. having the adjustable objective on a rimfire is nice. i have the original crossfire which is now discontinued but they have replaced it with the crossfireII.

I like the Leupold Rimfire 2-7. They're on sale somewhere in Quebec (I can't remember the name of the place) for around $200.

Has anybody tried the nikon prostaff II rimfire scope? looks pretty decent
