Can someone tell me at what distance the factory parallax setting of a fixed power rimfire scope is? I have a fixed power centrefire scope that I am going to use on a rimfire and would like to set the parallax as near to factory as I can.

I emailed Bushnell once about theirs and they said 50 yards. If you are going to be shooting grouse with it I'd set it closer, maybe 25? It depends on what you're going to be using the rifle for.

On some scopes you can screw in or out the objective lens. There's a fine ring you can turn a ring with something fine like a jeweller's screwdriver that moves the lens.
