Rimfire scope which one to choose?

Hey guys, what's the benefit of using a rim-fire specific riflescope over a regular riflescope? Can I not use a regular riflescope on my RX22?

Parallax is often set too far away. I bought a Leupold vx1. And the parallax was set to something like 150 yards. Made it difficult to shoot at 50 yards without adjustable parallax. I love my 4.5-14 Burris with adjustable parallax.

I can shoot at 50 yards or 500 yards and it all perfectly clear.

Most rimfire scopes have their parallax set at 50 yards, which makes shorter range shooting more consistent.

One thing to consider though, if you are perfectly positioned behind the scope, parallax doesn't matter. It is only when you are off-center that parallax becomes an issue, so if you are just using this scope for bench rest target shooting, its not a big deal. You have the time to make sure you are in the right position before you take the shot. If you are putting this scope on a hunting rifle, then it might be worthwhile to get something with a shorter parallax.

Adjustable parallax is good for target shooting, where you know your range to the target and have the time to adjust when your range changes. Alternatively, if its a hunting rifle, parallax adjustment is just one more thing for you to have to think about, and unless you are really good at guessing ranges, you are probably not going to get it parallax free anyways.

I'm a bit disappointed I got so many answer later I couldn't hold myself and bought a Nikon P-Rimfire 2x7 it works great but the bushnell with parallax adjustment would maybe interested me.
in anyway it looks great on my 795 and enjoy it so far.
